Take Action for Norzin Wangmo

Norzin Wangmo, a Tibetan "hero", writer and mother of two, is serving a five-year prison sentence for sending messages and talking on the telephone about the situation in Tibet. Norzin was a local government official but this did not protect her from prosecution. Norzin Wangmo's exact whereabouts are unclear, and she has been tortured during her detention. All this for doing something that most of us take for granted every day.

Please help Norzin Wangmo, and Tibet, by taking these two actions:
  1. View Free Norzin Wangmo a short video about her case.
  2. Follow this link to send an Urgent Action to the Communist Party Secretary of Sichuan Province and to China's Minister of Justice, with a copy to the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Expression. Please share these links with friends and post to your social networking sites.
 Thank you.
